Ideally located in the centre of Dublin, the award winning Cellar Restaurant (Hotel Restaurant of the Year 2014, Restaurant Association of Ireland Awards) is a wonderfully atmospheric, elegant and charming venue for a Christmas gathering. Executive Chef Ed Cooney and his team have created lunch and dinner menus that offers guests a modern twist on traditional festive fare. A two course lunch menu with coffee for €38 per person or a three course lunch menu with coffee for €45 per person is available. A three course dinner menu is available at €68 per person.

Following its success launch last year, The Merrion’s Sunday Brunch has gone from strength to strength and when better to enjoy it than The Cellar Bar during the Christmas season. The new Sunday Brunch menu, available from 11.30am to 5pm every Sunday, takes an inventive riff on the traditional American-style brunch, combining the New York spirit with the best-of-Irish comfort food – and a dash of relaxed 5* elegance. Watch out as Father Christmas will arrive in style!
Christmas Eve Lunch at The Cellar Bar and Restaurant
Family and friends can be wined and dined on the eve before Christmas at both The Cellar Bar and Restaurant as the team at The Merrion hotel have created indulgent menu offerings for all to enjoy! A three course menu in the restaurant (€99 per person) will feature the traditional roast turkey dinner with all the trimmings and Executive Head chef Ed Cooney’s famous plum pudding and brandy butter. For something more casual guest can enjoy a two course menu (€36 per person) in the beautiful surrounds of The Cellar Bar.
