The couple arrives at the hotel in a horse-drawn carriage and is greeted by footmen in traditional Georgian costume. Once inside the historic rooms of The Merrion, guests are serenaded by a string quartet and served Georgian specialties by staff dressed in period costume. Fine details including an antique writing desk for the guest book with quill and ink, period flower displays and actors dressed as the Duke of Wellington and Lady Mornington, transport guests to another time.

Tables are covered in Irish linen with the finest china, flowers and silverware at every setting. When celebrating at The Merrion Hotel, overnight accommodation is included for the bride and groom for one night.
