The Merrion Florist’s Top Decorating Tips:

· Cover the base of your Christmas tree with some festive fabric for added effect

· Hang the tree decorations in groups of 2 or 3 to create an even arrangement

· Why not spray wooden pegs gold or silver and use them to hang Christmas cards on the tree!

· Use cinnamon sticks as decorations to add a wonderful, festive scent

· Wrap wired Christmas fabric ribbon around the tree, starting at the top and spiral down to the base

· Colour co-ordinate your gift wrapping with your decorations to create a uniformed look

· And finally, don’t forget less is more so try not to get too carried away!
